Terms of Use
Last updated October 20, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and 8x Social, Inc. (“we”, “us”), which runs Resumazing. They cover the Resumazing app and this website (together, “Resumazing”). By creating an account or using Resumazing, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Resumazing.
1. What Resumazing does
Resumazing is a job-search app with a helper called Paige. It can:
- show you job picks from listings provided by a third-party job search service;
- build your resume with you, or import one you upload;
- suggest edits to your resume, tailor it to a job, and write cover letters, using AI (OpenAI);
- turn what you say into text when you tap the microphone;
- help you fill in application forms with answers you saved; and
- keep track of the jobs you save and apply to.
We may add, change or remove features over time. Some features are only in Resumazing Pro (section 5).
2. Who can use Resumazing
You must be at least 16 years old, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live. You may use Resumazing only for your own job search, and only if the law allows you to.
3. Your account
You sign in with your email address, or with Apple or Google. Give us accurate details and keep access to your email and sign-in methods safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us through the support page if you think someone else is using it.
4. Acceptable use
When you use Resumazing, you agree not to:
- put false information in a resume or application in a way that misleads an employer, or pretend to be someone else;
- upload content you have no right to use, or content that is unlawful or harmful;
- use Resumazing to send spam, or to harass, discriminate against or harm anyone;
- scrape, copy or resell Resumazing, its job listings or its AI output as a service;
- try to get around usage limits, Pro access, or our security, or reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it;
- overload or disrupt Resumazing, or use bots or automated means to access it; or
- break any law, or the terms of the sites where you apply for jobs.
5. Resumazing Pro and subscriptions
Resumazing is free to use, with limits (for example, a set number of tailored resumes each month). Resumazing Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription that raises those limits and unlocks extra features. The paywall in the app shows what Pro includes, the price and the billing period before you buy.
- Plans. Pro is offered as a weekly, a quarterly (every three months) or a yearly subscription. Not every plan is offered in every country. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency and may include tax.
- Free trial. The yearly plan starts with a free trial (currently 7 days) for new subscribers. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged for the first period. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- Payment. On iPhone, you buy Pro through Apple’s in-app purchase, and payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. When Resumazing is available on Google Play, payment there is charged to your Google Play account. We never see your card details.
- Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your account settings: on iPhone, Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android, Google Play → Payments & subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app or your Resumazing account does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds. Apple and Google handle all payments, so refunds are decided by them under their own policies. You can ask Apple for a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Restore. If you reinstall the app or change phones, use Restore purchases on the paywall to get Pro back on the same store account.
- Price changes. If the price of Pro changes, the store tells you before it applies, and you can cancel before then.
6. Your content
Your resume, the details you add, your cover letters and your saved answers are yours (“your content”). You keep all your rights to them. You give us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to store, process and change your content only to provide Resumazing to you: for example, to send your resume and a job description to our AI provider to tailor it, or to make a PDF for you. This permission ends when you delete your content or your account, except for copies we must keep by law or that sit in backups for a short time. We do not sell your content, and we do not show it to employers unless you send it yourself. You are responsible for your content, and you confirm you have the right to use it.
7. AI output
Resumazing uses AI to suggest resume edits, tailor resumes, write cover letters, score how well a job fits you and turn speech into text. AI can be wrong. It can misread your resume, leave out something that matters, or state something that is not true about you.
- Check everything before you send it. Read every tailored resume, cover letter and filled-in form, and make sure it is accurate and true for you. You decide what you send, and you are responsible for it.
- Match scores, ATS checks and suggestions are estimates to help you decide. They are not a promise of how an employer or a hiring system will react.
- No guarantee of a job. Resumazing helps you search and apply. We do not guarantee interviews, offers, or any result from an application.
8. Job listings and other services
Job listings come from a third-party job search service and from the employers and sites that publish them. We do not write, check or endorse them, and we are not the employer or a recruiter. A listing can be out of date, wrong, or already filled. When you open a listing or apply on another site, that site’s own terms and privacy policy apply, and we are not responsible for it. Be careful with any listing that asks you for money or sensitive personal details.
9. Our app and brand
Resumazing, Paige, our designs, our code and our brand belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your own job search under these terms. Nothing in these terms gives you any other right to them.
10. Apple’s terms on iPhone
If you got Resumazing from Apple’s App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app. If it conflicts with these terms, these terms apply where the law allows. Apple is not responsible for Resumazing or its content, has no duty to provide support or maintenance for it, and is not responsible for any claims about it (including product liability, legal compliance or intellectual property claims). Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. The same applies to Google if you got the app from Google Play, under Google Play’s terms.
11. Deleting your account and ending these terms
You can stop using Resumazing at any time. You can delete your account in the app (Settings → Delete account) or on our account deletion page. This deletes your account and your content as the Privacy Policy describes. It does not cancel a subscription; cancel that in your store account first (section 5).
We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if your use puts other people or Resumazing at risk. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you why first. We may also stop offering Resumazing; if we do, we will tell you in advance where we can. Sections 6 to 9 and 12 to 15 continue after these terms end, as far as they are meant to.
12. Disclaimers
Resumazing is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises, express or implied, that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose, or that job listings or AI output will be accurate or complete. Some places do not allow these exclusions, so some of them may not apply to you.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost income, lost opportunities or lost data, that come from your use of Resumazing, from a job listing, or from content generated with AI. Our total liability for any claim about Resumazing is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for Resumazing Pro in the 12 months before the claim, or US $50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the law where you live.
14. Indemnity
If someone brings a claim against us because of your content or because you broke these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from that claim, to the extent the law allows.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules, and any dispute not resolved informally goes to the courts located there. This does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live.
16. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms as Resumazing changes. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. The date at the top shows the last change. If you keep using Resumazing after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms. If you do not accept them, stop using Resumazing and delete your account.
